The Big Buck$ Workshop was developed by the Education is Essential Foundation of the Dalton-Whitfield Chamber of Commerce to make area students aware of the importance of an education before they enter high school or choose to drop out of school.  Business volunteers conduct workshops and engage students in activities that present a reality check out:

  Why business is committed to having an educated work force.
  What employers expect of employees in the work place.
  How education impacts one's job choices in the work place.
  How job opportunity impacts one's quality of life and spending choices.
